Blakeney Sanford

Blakeney Sanford spent her childhood in the Sta. Rita Hills.  The daughter of pioneer vintners, she was immersed in farming, winemaking and the food and wine world.  She spent her days roaming the hills, finding comfort and inspiration in nature.  Her childhood dream of becoming a career artist has since come to fruition.  In an effort to translate nature into sculpture, affecting the human experience, her body of work includes site specific installations built from steel and resin as well as paintings depicting the human body and movement. She shows in galleries and museums nationally and has produced work for private and public clients including Quiksilver and GoPro.
