Cherry Crumble
Check out this yummy Cherry Crumble, which is a perfect summer treat!
Ingredients:
Filling:
- 2 lbs of cherries, pitted
- 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of a lemon (about 1 teaspoon)
- 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup butter, in cubes and at room temperature
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Pre-heat the oven to 350
- In a large bowl, mix the filling ingredients together until well combined.
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, oats, sugar and salt together and then with your hands crumble the butter into the topping mixture until well mixed.
- In a greased pan, pour in cherries and cover with handfuls of crumble.
- Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown!
