Best Bone Broth
I have been making Bone Broth for years. Another name for it is Bone Stock. I love to make my own at home because there is so much more flavor and you have so much more control over the ingredients that you choose to put into the broth. I add this to everything: my soups, stews, rice dishes, pastas etc... I will also just drink it on its own!
Avocado Dressing
I make my Honey Balsamic Dressing easily once a week, but sometimes I need new flavors for my salad! This Avocado Dressing does the trick every time. It has the tang of lemon juice but also the buttery smooth texture of avocados. You will be sure to love each bite.
Horchata
This sweet drink has been one of my favorites since I was a young girl and now my boys love it! We have so many great Mexican restaurants all around us that serve horchata- but I found that I needed to make this in bulk at home to keep everyone happy, including me! I like to make a big batch of this around the holiday. It is such a fun drink for kids and can be quickly made into a celebratory drink with a little shot of whiskey.
Tomato Chuck Roast on Cheesy Polenta
When Austin and I first got married we were lucky enough to receive a Dutch oven as a wedding gift. This was one of the first meals that I ever made for us and it has remained a staple in our home over the years. This meal makes a cold day seem cozy, a hectic day slow down and an empty tummy full again.
Butternut Squash Gratin
Here we go another cozy filling fall recipe! Potatoes Au Gratin are always yummy and this is just a slight twist for the season, Butternut Squash Gratin. It is everything cheesy and good about the classic with some added flavor.
Stuffed Acorn Squash
Squash season is the cozy season. It is a time when I want filling meals that are easy meals to make. This recipe is great because you fill the squash with all the goodness, add...
Caramel Apples
This sweet treat has been one of my fall favorites since I was very young. There is something about the buttery caramel and the crunch of a tart apple that makes me incredibly happy. In my twenties, I lived around the corner from a candy and chocolate shop and I used to buy a caramel apples once a week because I loved the taste so much! Once I had kids and introduced them to this sweet, I knew I had to start making them at home. Not only are they more fresh when you make yourself, but you can also add all the toppings that you love.
